Having recently got engaged I have been on a mission to lose weight. Bethan offers a flexible program, enabling me to exercise around shift work. She is very motivational, offering realistic goals which keep me focused in-between sessions, as well as making sure I achieve my targets. She has given me the confidence to believe in my own ability and is diverse in changing my program. At only 4 weeks in I am noticing the difference, and have lost over 5cm on my waist – which can only be a good thing!

Whilst I had the motivation to go to the gym I wasn’t getting the results I wanted. I had never worked with a trainer before and it has changed my life. I could then physically see that going to the gym was worth it.
Kelly and Bethan are great at ascertaining your levels and ensuring everything is totally tailored to you, I felt that my success was their success and I didn’t want to let them or myself down.

Nearly a year ago now I did my first Metafit session and it was hard, really hard. I hadn’t done any exercise in a while, it had always been something I’d avoided my whole life if I’m being honest. P.E. was a dreaded lesson and my confidence when exercising was non-existent. If you had told me then that I would be running 5 miles while tackling a lot of muddy obstacles I don’t think I would have believed you.
That is what is so amazing about Bethan. She helps you to achieve things that you don’t always believe you can. I am a lot fitter than I was, I’m eating healthier and my body shape is changing. I’ve gone from one Metafit session a week to a combination of Metafit and Group PT. Most importantly I don’t dread exercising anymore, especially not with the lovely Berkhamsted Fitness community.
Over the past year Bethan has helped me to change my lifestyle and that’s why I know it will stick. I am much more confident in my fitness ability and while there is still a way to go I know I will keep improving with Bethan’s help.
