Pilates combines stretching, strengthening and mobility exercises to improve core stability, spinal support and posture. Whilst Pilates has been proven to effectively rehabilitate back, neck, shoulder and hip injuries, I believe that prevention is better than cure. Adding Pilates into your training programme will help to develop the deep core muscles and support these vital joints during everyday tasks.
